We have had two gas teams on site this week, looking at moving the gas main to maximise extraction from the site. They have also replaced the carbon filter on the gas equipment (this is what removes the H2S from the captured gas). As a result, there has been very little gas odour noticeable onsite. We have noticed some fresh waste odour, although waste inputs are currently at a reduced rate.
We have started covering the areas that have reached the correct height and contour with soil in preparation for the permanent capping, although we will need to wait for better weather before we can start on this final stage of works.
