Storm Eowyn has hit the UK with record-breaking winds reported. On site, this has resulted in some damage to the capping and the litter nets have been bent over. Whilst it is too dangerous to attempt repairs today, we will have staff on site tomorrow to start repairing this. Fortunately, the site was extremely well covered with soil yesterday so this should limit any effects and we have teams out undertaking perimeter inspections. However, if there are any issues with off-site wind-blown litter, people can report this by leaving a message on the Freephone number – 0808 281 4753 – and we will send litter pickers out to collect it.
