Unfortunately, we are aware that the odour has become worse today. The smell is emanating from the storm-damaged cap on Cell 5 and has been exacerbated by the wind direction blowing it towards the town. We have two teams on site working to fix the cap and this should be finished by the weekend/beginning of next week, although there should be a daily improvement as the work nears completion. We will continue to issue updates on the progress of the work.
