Over the last couple of days we have continued to prepare the site for the deep well drilling next week. This has mainly involved sealing the cell with clay.
The drilling equipment will arrive on Monday, and we intend to drill each well, connect it up and then switch it on as soon as it is finished, rather than waiting for all of the wells to be drilled and connected. We hope that this sequence will mean that the benefits will be noticed faster, although it will be an incremental reduction in odour as we drill, connect and switch on all 11 wells.
In order to complete the last few wells, we will need to build up a small area to make it level.
