Community Liaison Group
Engaging with the local community in Fleetwood is a key part of our development and site management process. We setup Community Liaison Group to update local representatives on site developments and hear feedback from the local communities.
Our community liaison group comprises local MPs, councillors, residents and regulatory agencies. The group meets regularly and the minutes from these meetings are available below:
Community Benefit Fund
We want to be a good neighbour that works with the local community to improve life for local residents.
As part of our work with the community liaison group, we will be looking to identify local groups and environmental projects that could benefit from a community fund.
Restoration Planning
Once the remaining cells are full, we will be looking to restore the site. This will involve capping the site with a liner, clay, soils and grass.
We propose working with the Community Liaison Group and local environmental experts to develop a planting and restoration programme which will deliver a bio-diversity net gain for the area.
